You can book Nightcap Ridge directly through our website using the booking calendar, or reach out to us by email and we’ll be happy to assist. We recommend booking well in advance —especially for weekends, school holidays, and peak seasons — as dates fill quickly.

Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. If you;d like an early check-in or late check-out, just let us know when you book — we’ll do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.

We understand that plans sometimes change. Cancellations made more than 30 days before your arrival date receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable, though we’re always happy to help you reschedule where possible. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Yes — a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required upfront.

Our minimum stay is 2 nights. During peak periods (public holidays, school holidays, and long weekends) a minimum of 3 nights applies. Occasionally we open up single-night stays for last-minute availability — keep an eye on our booking calendar!

Of course! We’re always willing to help you shift dates if something comes up. Just get in touch as early as possible and we’ll do our best to find alternative dates that work for you, subject to availability. Date changes are free of charge more than 30 days out.

Nightcap Ridge is fully self-contained and set up so you can relax from the moment you walk through the door. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas, quality bed linen and towels, an outdoor entertaining area, and breathtaking views of the surrounding ridge. We visiting Nightcap Ridge we encourage you to explore the grounds and many walking trails on the property. Most walking tracks a circuits so you can’t get lost.

Yes, we have reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property. We do encourage guests to embrace a little digital detox and soak up the nature around them — but we know staying connected matters too, so it’s there whenever you need it.

Absolutely. The properties have ceiling fans in the bedrooms and a cosy wood fireplace (firewood provided) for the cooler months. All beds have electric blankets too. We want you comfortable year-round, whatever the weather on the ridge decides to do. Being up in the mountains it is often cooler up here than what it is down on the coast – so its recommended to pack some warm clothes, even in the warmer months.

Yes! All beds are made up fresh before your arrival with quality linen, and we provide bath towels for all guests. We ask that you bring your own beach or pool towels if you plan on using the local waterfalls and swimming spots nearby.

As we’re nestled within a national park, we’re unable to welcome pets at Nightcap Ridge. Our location is home to an incredible array of native wildlife — including resident koalas, wallabies, and a wonderful variety of other animals — and we want to ensure they remain safe and undisturbed. We know it’s hard to leave your furry family members behind, but rest assured the wildlife wandering through the property will more than make up for it!

Yes! Nightcap Ridge is a wonderful place for a family getaway. The property is spread across 70 acres with plenty of space to roam and explore. We recommend supervising young children near any outdoor edges. Feel free to ask us about any specific needs and we’ll do our best to help.

The last stretch of road as you drive into the National Park is unsealed but well-maintained and accessible by a standard 2WD vehicle. We’ll provide detailed turn-by-turn directions with your booking confirmation — we don’t recommend relying solely on GPS, as it can occasionally lead you astray in rural areas!

Mobile reception can be patchy on the ridge, which many of our guests actually love — it’s part of the magic of truly getting away! Coverage depends on your carrier. For reliable connectivity, the property’s Wi-Fi has you covered, and we’re always reachable via messaging apps for anything you might need during your stay.

The nearest township is approximately 15–20 minutes away and has a supermarket, bakery, petrol station, and a handful of lovely local eateries. We recommend stocking up before you head up to the ridge so you can fully unwind once you arrive.
