The rainforest surrounding Nightcap Ridge is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. Guests often spot wallabies, echidnas, bandicoots, goannas and koalas, along with an incredible variety of birdlife. Parrots, rosellas, kookaburras, cockatoos, kingfishers and bowerbirds are regularly seen around the property, while the dazzling Wompoo Fruit Dove has become something of a local mascot. With so much untouched forest surrounding the property, the sounds and sightings of wildlife are part of everyday life at Nightcap Ridge.
